Rollback to float
Students 6-12 months learn the fundamental ISR skill of rolling onto their backs to float, rest, and breathe. Infants and toddlers who are not yet walking well will learn to maintain this position until help can reach them, and sets a good foundation as they continue their ISR journey. This course typically takes six weeks.
SWIM FLOAT SWIM
ISR teaches beginner walkers up to 6 year olds to swim a short distance, rotate onto their back to a floating position, and then turn over to continue the sequence of swimming and floating until they can reach safety at the steps, side of the pool, or shoreline. This course typically takes six weeks.
REFRESHER LESSONS
ISR recommends that you bring your child back for refresher lessons every six months to a year. The goal of refreshers is to have your child's ISR skills grow with him or her. Your Instructor will work with your child to help fine-tune his or her ISR Self-Rescue™ skills and can help determine the best time for your child's refresher lessons.
